Nigeria super Eagles played draw with Scotland 2-2

The Super Eagles arrived London on Sunday evening ahead of Wednesday’s friendly against the Tartan Army at Fulham’s Craven Cottage

Fourteen members of the Super Eagles touched down in London on Sunday ahead of their friendly against Scotland on Wednesday.

Led by coach Stephen Keshi and his technical crew, the 14 lads who turned up with him are Ogenyi Onazi, Ahmed Musa, Victor Obinna Nsofor, Michael Uchebo, Godfrey Oboabona, Gabriel Reuben, Juwon Oshaniwa, Efe Ambrose and Sunday Mba.

Five players from the Nigeria Premier League also made the trip. They are Chigozie Agbim, Azubuike Egwuekwe, Daniel Akpeyi, Kunle Odunlami and Ejike Uzoenyi.

Recent Turkish title winner Emmanuel Emenike and Spain-based midfielder Ramon Azeez joined the camp on Sunday afternoon with the remaining players expected to join up in earnest.

Ukraine-based Babatunde Michael was already at the team’s Hilton Cobhams Hotel when the contingent arrived.

Team media officer Ben Alaiya said that the players are happy and business-minded as they begin preparations for the World Cup that will kick off in three weeks.

After Wednesday’s warm up against Scotland, the Super Eagles will depart for the United States where they will play matches against Greece and the US national men’s team.
Keshi is expected to name his final 23-man squad by June 2.
