My mother groaned, my father wept, and into the dangerous world I leapt… Helpless, naked, piping loud, like a fiend hid in a cloud.Men are like wine: some turn to vinegar, but the best improve with age. As the days goes by; so the smile of my years, long in health and abundant of prosperity.
As I mark another year, I thank God. To those that have despised me I say thank you and I am highly humbled, you have taught me to be thick and resilient. To those that show true love I say may God endow you with blessing and inner peace.
To my beloved country that is bewildered with crisis at the moment, I say it won’t be long for the paradigm change, it won’t be long for us to gain Nigeria back… and to our girls, you are not forgotten, we would fight and bring you back.
To my fellow men, let us stay in peace and dwell with all mankind in love ………
To the courage of my dad and the resilient heart of my mum for painstakingly bringing me to life ……..Thank you for the parenting. To my late grandma, what would life have been like if not for your guidance and love and, to my amiable, adorable and companion wife, my gift and angel, thank you for those grammar corrections and unparalleled love, am so humbled…and to our kids, I love you all and to my creator who knows me and refines me daily in his fortress of grace ……thank you Baba God …and to the editorial team , board of directors and Facebook friends thank you for your support and encouragement throughout the years …..may we see more years in the land of the living. AMEN
