The Galleries at CSU Unveils “At Home in Africa” Exhibit With Tribal Entertainment: Kristel’s CLE

CLEVELAND, Ohio—Today, Cleveland State University unveiled the “At Home in Africa” exhibit at The Galleries at CSU, 1307 Euclid Ave., featuring over 300 artifacts.

The free opening reception included a drum performance, tribal dancing and a tour of the University’s collection. The video above shares a few highlights from the night.

The 411: The collection includes traditional handcrafted jewelry, fashion and objects that were found in African homes over the past 130 years. The exhibit covers over 70 ethnic groups from 30 countries.
