Just a couple of years ago, the Nigerian beautiful was shedding tears after beating numerous of long legged girls at the Nigeria’s Next Super Model contest and we were proud to acknowledge her as one of Africa’s best models.
Ever since, she has working with some of Nigeria’s best designers, participated in Mercedes Benz Fahion Week Africa, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Cape Town, Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Joburg, New York Fashion Week, 100 Black Week of America fashion show produced by Dwight Eubanks of Atlanta house wives in Atlanta Georgia and the Ethical Fashion Show, and all this before she has turned 17.
The road for Favour has not been easy, these words might puzzle some as she is doing quite well. However, I state this because Africa has not yet gotten grips with us creating our own international models. Had Favour accomplished what she has done in Europe or America, working with their major brands, we would all be waving banners with her name on it branded as and international super model, when the truth is she is even more stunning, already international, doing just as much work, and just as good as most of the current top black models in the outside Africa, all at the age of 16, need I say it again?
Ghana willsoon be blessed with the opportunity to see this super model walk the runway of Glitz Africa Fashion Week 2014. And if so, we will bring her to you in 3d
