In the first-ever interview with Nick Gordon and his mother, it was revealed that he blames himself for the condition she’s in — and feels strongly that if she dies, it will be no one else’s fault but his.
As Bobbi Kristina Brown, 22, clings to life by remaining in a coma almost two months after being found face down in the bath tub, her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, has decided to open up about what happened to her on a very special episode of Dr. Phil. Before Nick even appeared on camera, his biological mother revealed that he has done nothing but blame himself for the fact that Bobbi Kristina may never wake up.

Watching Nick’s mother, Michelle, explain through tears what her son is currently going through was definitely hard to watch. It’s clear that she feels his pain, and only wants to see him ease up on himself.

“Nicholas continually just expresses how much he has failed Whitney, because Whitney asked Nicholas to protect Krissie,” Michelle explained. “He says that if Krissie dies it’s going to be his fault because she should have survived due to his CPR.”
It was Max who pulled Bobbi Kristina out of the tub, but he ran to get Nick because he doesn’t know CPR. Once Nick got to Bobbi Kristina, he desperately tried to resuscitate his girlfriend by doing CPR until the emergency team arrived.
Now, Nick seems to be constantly battling his inner demons as he blames himself for her condition — and he can’t even visit her in the hospital to see how she’s doing.

Nick’s appearance on Dr. Phil seemed to echo his recent distraught behavior over Bobbi. Just recently, Nick wrote a desperate suicidal tweet the day before Bobbi’s 22nd birthday
During this whole ordeal, Nick has received no support from Bobbi’s family. At first, he was by Bobbi’s side in the hospital with the rest of the family, but tensions rose, with Bobbi’s father, Bobby Brown, blaming Bobbi’s condition on Nick. The two reportedly got into a shoving match by Bobbi’s bedside, resulting in the Brown family shutting Nick completely out, even reportedly banning Nickfrom visiting Bobbi Kristina in the hospital. Nick’s cousin, Jerod Brown, said that Nick was taking legal action to see Bobbi, to which Nick later denied.
Max Lomas, a close friend told Bobbi, told TMZ that on the night of Bobbi’s accident, Nick attempted to get rid of blood stains and clean up Bobbi’s home before the Georga police arrived, leading to speculation that Nick was trying to cover something up. Bobbi’s aunt, Leolah Brown, recently posted on Facebook that Nick was under investigation for murder, echoing an early interview where she hoped Nick would be charged for what happened to Bobbi Kristina.
Despite his explosive and uncooperative attitude during his interview, Nick reportedly checked himself into rehab a few days after the Dr. Phil interview.
