The camp of Nigeria’s Senior Female National team, Super Falcons, came alive Tuesday morning, as Liverpool Ladies forward, Asisat Oshoala and United States-based player, Courtney Dike arrived to join their mates in preparation for the 2015 Fifa Women’s World Cup holding in one month time in Canada.
Oshoala arrived the country on Monday night after featuring for the entire duration of the match between the female Liverpool side and Notts County in the English Women Premier League on Sunday.
Kansas State University’s Dike who starred for the Falconets at the U20 Women’s World Cup, on her part, arrived camp on Tuesday morning and will be hoping to break into the star-studded Super Falcons team.
Meanwhile, the Nigerian female football team will depart for Toronto next Tuesday to fine tune strategies for the World Cup, the Nigeria Football Federation has disclosed.
