Nigeria Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki has written to the Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in response to an earlier letter by the party leadership captioned, “party position on principal officers of the 8th Senate” where the APC forwarded to him the names of those it wants to be principal officers.
Saraki used his letter to explain why he could not see to the implementation of the party’s wishes, noting that his hands were tied on the issue.
Senator Saraki had read yesterday, to the hearing of all at the Upper Chamber, the names of the elected Principal Officers appointed from the various Zonal caucuses meeting of the party, APC, which was contrary to the party leaders’ preferred candidates.
