FREE SIMON ATEBA COALITION- “CAMEROON TO RESPECT PRESS FREEDOM”

Simon Ateba is a  gentleman and a dedicated Nigerian journalist, formerly of the News Magazine.

“He remained active through his blog www.simonateba.com. It’s been days since he was detained on espionage charges in Cameroon in his attempt to cover the plight of Nigerians displaced by Boko Haram who are holed up in a camp in the North of the countryWe are kicking off a coalition to press for the release of Simon Ateba a Lagos-based journalist who was captured by Cameroonian government on Saturday 29th Aug. 2015″-  according to Steve Aborisade

He was accused of spying for Boko Haram. Simon Ateba has been denied access to food or his medication and his whereabouts cannot be ascertained in Cameroon for over 72 HOURS.
We will not rest until Simon Ateba is freed

The Afrika Market appeal to cameroon government to obey human right law and respect freedom of the press by releasing Simon Ateba without any prejudice or condition .
