The U.S. Embassy in South Africa is warning of potential terror threats to American interests in the region.
In a message posted on the embassy’s website, the U.S. diplomatic mission warns that “extremists may be targeting U.S. interests in South Africa,” potentially including “U.S. government facilities and other facilities identifiable with U.S. business interests.”
Americans in the country are advised to review security plans, be aware of their surroundings, and be vigilant at all times.
