One of the resolutions of south west governors’ meeting today at Akure should be immediate appointment of Chief Sunday Igboho as Corps Marshal ( overall commander) of Amotekun Corps to oversee all south west states from Lagos to Kwara/ Kogi for initial period of 5 years with the clear mandate or target to rid all Yorubaland and forests of crimes and all forms of criminality.
His office should be in Ibadan with the paraphernalia of office equivalent to a police DIG . This is not about education or speaking English , but the young man as clearly displayed COMPETENCY AND PASSED FIT FOR ROLE TEST . The time to safeguard the present and future of Yorubaland is now and this man has displayed selflessness to the cause of Yoruba nation and people . The time to act is NOW .
