Libya’s Coast Guard Rescues 143 illegal Immigrants

The Libyan Coast Guard has rescued 143 illegal immigrants of various nationalities, including five women.

The immigrants were transported to the Tripoli seaport, the Interior Ministry said in a statement on its official Facebook page on Tuesday.

According to the statement, humanitarian and medical aid was delivered to the immigrants, and legal measures were taken against them.
