Three nights ago, I experienced my first Broadway musical at the Prince Edward Theatre, and it was truly magical. It’s now one of my top three life experiences. The performance was a Michael Jackson musical, which was especially meaningful to me because Michael Jackson was my childhood hero. I worry that no other Broadway performance will ever quite measure up to this one😅
I love to explore the world with a childlike sense of wonder. I believe it’s important to see as much of it as possible before deciding your place in it. Don’t settle for what’s within your purview—strive to see more of the world through books, travel, and curiosity.
It’s easy to become Cynical with the world and it’s problems but I promise there’s still so much to discover
I’ll be in London until the end of July and look forward to connecting with wonderful people. I’m also eager to find resources and opportunities to advance our causes at @chessinslums and @thegiftofchess.
P.S. Avoid flying with Royal Air Maroc. You’re honestly better off swimming across the Atlantic Ocean. They lost My bags, and I spent four days in London with nothing but the clothes on my back which left me deeply frustrated and unable to make concrete plans.
Thankfully, they found my bags this morning and I can finally forge ahead.
