Alaska Airlines to Launch New Nonstop Flights from Anchorage to Detroit and Sacramento

Alaska Airlines has announced the launch of new nonstop flights from Anchorage, Alaska, to Detroit, Michigan, and Sacramento, California, expanding its network and offering more options for travelers. The new routes will provide greater connectivity to key U.S. cities and enhance the airline’s presence in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska.

The flight to Detroit will begin in the spring of 2025, providing Anchorage residents and visitors with a direct link to the Motor City. Similarly, the Sacramento route, also set to start in 2025, will offer Alaskans easy access to California’s capital.

These new routes are expected to stimulate tourism, business travel, and provide residents with more flight options. Alaska Airlines continues to focus on expanding its services and increasing convenience for its passengers with these new nonstop flights.
