We stood beneath a fractured sky, Your hand in mine, a fleeting tie. The stars above, they burned so bright, Yet could not pierce the coming night.

For love, though fierce, is not a shield,
It cannot mend what time has peeled.
It cannot fill the hollow ache,
Nor build a bridge where worlds will break.

We tried to weave a dream so pure,
A tapestry we thought would endure.
But threads unravel, colors fade,
And even love cannot persuade.

The silence grew, a heavy weight,
A truth we dared not contemplate.
That love alone cannot sustain,
When shadows creep and doubts remain.

Yet still, I hold what once was true,
The light that shone when I met you.
For though it’s not enough to stay,
It was enough to light the way.

So let us part with gentle grace,
And not regret the brief embrace.
For love, though fleeting, leaves its mark—
A spark that lingers in the dark.                                     The Flame That Never Dies

Beneath the weight of countless skies,
A flame persists—it never dies.
Through ages vast, it softly burns,
A beacon for the heart that yearns.

It lit the paths of ancient feet,
Where lovers met in shadows sweet.
It warmed the hands of those who toiled,
And kissed the dreams of kings who foiled.

Through wars that scarred the trembling earth,
It whispered still of life’s true worth.
In every cry, in every plea,
It sang of hope, of what could be.

And when the stars grow cold and dim,
When silence claims the cosmic hymn,
This flame will rise, a steadfast guide,
A spark of love, eternal, wide.

For though the world may fade to dust,
And time consume both sword and rust,
The human heart, in light or pain,
Will keep this flame alive
