HARARE-A delegation from Tanzania’s Mwalimu Julius Nyerere School of Leadership is in the country to exchange notes with their counterparts from the Chitepo School of Ideology.
Led by the school’s principal, Professor Marcellina Mvula Chijoriga, the delegation met ZANU PF Secretary General, Dr Obert Mpofu, at the party headquarters, in Harare, this Monday to deliberate on various areas of mutual interest.
The two leaders pledging to work closely towards strengthening bilateral relations.
“I want to thank you for the support that you have given in those tough times we started the school, ZANU PF has been there, we want to establish formal relations. In the schools there are issues of how we can share staff teachings and exchanges,” Professor Chijoriga said.
“We are in full support of your higher institute of learning we, are proud that the school is on its feet, we assure you of support in all your programmes, we also appreciate the role our Chinese counterparts are playing in having these systems,” Dr Mpofu said.
The delegation arrived in Zimbabwe at the weekend and will tour the Chitepo School of Ideology on a benchmarking visit.
The visit to Chitepo School of Ideology is expected to culminate in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the two institutions.
