PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has toured the Zimbabwean pavilion at the ongoing Expo 2025 Osaka.

Since the expo began in April, the pavilion receives an average of 7 000 visitors every day and to date, more than half a million people have stopped by.

President Mnangagwa was impressed with the quality of the exhibits on display, highlighting the importance of showcasing national potential at international platforms of this magnitude.

The President said taking part in such world expos allows countries to learn and borrow ideas from each other.

He noted that after taking part in such a global expo, the nation must reflect on how it can acquire best practices across various sectors of the economy.

Apart from the Zimbabwean pavilion, President Mnangagwa also visited the host country, Japan’s pavilion, as well as those of Zambia and Lesotho.
