SOGO Rangers continue winning streak with 8-wicket victory over Rimuka

SOGO Rangers secured a convincing eight-wicket win over Rimuka Cricket Club in a thrilling National Premier League Match Day Two encounter at Old Hararians Sports Club this Wednesday.

Tadiwanashe Marumani and Jarod Basson were the heroes for SOGO Rangers after putting on a crucial 100-run partnership for the team.

Rimuka had won the toss and elected to bat, putting on a strong start, getting 53 runs without losing a wicket in the power play.

The Midlands-based side eventually posted 254/8 in their allotted 45 overs.

Rangers powered by Marumani and Basson reached the target without any hustle while having five overs in the bag.

In other matches, Alex Cricket Club beat Westside by seven wickets, while Amakhosi 1 overcame Takashinga 2 by 21 runs.

Takashinga 1 walloped Chiredzi by 192 runs, while Eastern Titans beat Gladiators by 16 runs.
