‘our commitment today inspires their tomorrow from here a new crops of disciple minds and leader will emerge’.
This is a generational shift, a time for Africans, Nigerians to gained the dividends of democracy and compete at the world stage..thus this era called for causatives and palliative measures though political process and enabling environment for Nigerians to exploit their given resourses and human endowment.About once or twice in every political period or election, politicians should be engaged in public debates with some pressing need; either to woo or to win the approval of the people. Very often, when they give their
views, there’s no congruent dimension, and certainly not one that is only or especially available to the political economy, or the
ethno-cultural values of the state—and not even welfare package of the nation —they raise contentions that attract pitying looks and anxious questions. However, they puzzle party agenda and policies which at times draconian or anti-human. .
The fundamental questions is What is their pedigree? what policy or programs that is the more pragmatic and valued in terms of
socio-economic and infrastructural development? How does a mere and gross materialist, with no expectation of a life to come, decide what, (if anything) is worth caring about?Today’s Nigerian and African politicians need to be questioned, asked to account for their services, and to critically debate their ideological and philosophical stances .
Questions of integrity, loyalty and sincerity of purpose can be raised to query the personality and characteristic traits of the aspirants.
In this dispensation , it’s a duty to bring politicians to a public square, and to painstakingly debate their agenda in order to find ways
of saving the state from underdevelopment.
