Yaya Touré Take To Twitter To Applaud Kenyan Athletes At IAAF World Athletics Championships

Manchester City star Yaya Toure  took to social media to applaud Kenyans starling performance at the IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing where Kenya leads the medal table with six gold, Three silver and Two bronze medals so far.

The Ivory Coast midfielder who visited Kenya in 2013 as goodwill ambassador for UN campaign against poaching   was no doubt impressed by Kenyans performance when he tweeted:

“I  was in Kenya with @UNEP this summer. I saw how much Kenyans love sport! Good to see them winning medals at #Beijing2015 Championships ????????????????”

Earlier this year in Nairobi, Bharti Airtel Africa, announced Mr.Touré as its new African face  that will see him support Airtel’s Corporate Social Responsibility particularly in youth empowerment for development that also includes the Airtel Rising Star football tournament.
