Uganda’s Tech Game Levels Up with First Microsoft Azure Stack!

Liquid Intelligent Technologies is about to shake things up in Uganda by launching the country’s first Microsoft Azure Stack. This tech upgrade is set to give local businesses a major boost by providing cloud solutions that align with local data regulations.

What’s Microsoft Azure Stack?
Think of it as a supercharged combo of hardware and software that brings cloud services right to a local data center, helping businesses create hybrid cloud environments. Michael Mukasa, CEO of Liquid Intelligent Technologies Uganda, is hyped about the Azure Stack hub. He believes it’s a game-changer for local businesses, offering cost-effective cloud access, ensuring compliance with data regulations, and running latency-sensitive applications smoothly. “This is the fifth African country where Liquid Technologies is rolling out Microsoft Azure Stack. It’s not just for big enterprises; it’s also set to speed up cloud adoption among Ugandan SMEs. We’re empowering customers with a secure cloud solution that cuts down on lag and supports real-time business continuity with flexible options,” Mukasa explained.

Mukasa also reassured future customers about data safety, highlighting that this partnership with Microsoft ensures they receive the latest software and security updates instantly. Set to officially launch in Uganda on August 15, the Azure Stack will come in three packages:

  • Silver: Up to 20Mbps at Shs 224,000
  • Gold: Up to 40Mbps at Shs 448,000
  • Platinum: Up to 60Mbps at Shs 672,000

This launch is all about bringing cutting-edge tech to Uganda, making it easier and safer for businesses to dive into the cloud!
