Davido in style

Davido is no doubt the king of African entertainment going by the myriads of awards he has gathered for himself this year alone. He beat South Africa’s Mafikizolo, Nigeria’s Tiwa Savage, Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, Ghana’s Sarkodie, and Togo’s Toofan at the 2014 BET Awards under the ‘Best African Act’ category.
According to available statistics, he has bagged more than 4 awards this year, and he is not done yet. We hear that the “Aye” crooner has been nominated for the 2014 MTV European Music Awards, in the prestigious ‘Best African Act’ category.
Davido, the Omo Baba Olowo has been nominated together with Togo’s Toofan, South Africa’s Goldfish, and Tanzania’s Diamond. Fans have already been asked to vote for their favourite artist.
The award is the brainchild of Network Europe.
The MTV Europe Music Award was launched in 1994 with the goal to celebrate the most inspiring, talented and entertaining songs and singers in Europe. This year’s award will be held on November 9th, 2014 in Glasgow, UK.
