My art is a reflection of my state of mind. I’m an experimental artist, i do not try to philosophy with my paintings. however, if my painting evoke any thoughts or feelings its just my art mind and broad view of life both in perspective and reality of todays world. I work with various medium and experiment with found objects .most of my resent works is characterized by lines and transparent overlapping form.
Tayo olayode was born on DEC 1970 in Lagos. a graduate of the Ahmadu Bello university Zaria, with a bachelor degree in fine art, a full
Time studio artist with many years of practice. He has participated in
many art shows in Nigeria and around the world, his works are in many
private collection and art auctions.
He is also skilled in computer
design and printing, an experimental artist .
He is a member of the Nigerian society of artist, Nigerian guild of professional artist,
president of water colour league and founder iponri art studios one of the leading art
movement in Nigeria. an art consultant and curate many art show in
Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya, winner of the ford foundation art award for
