Zimbabwe’s young table tennis sensation, Trust Madoro, fought hard to secure a quarterfinal slot for Team Zimbabwe at the ITTF African Youth Championship 2025, which is currently underway in Lagos, Nigeria.

Zimbabwe had a tough assignment against the continent’s second seed, Egypt, losing 3-0 in straight sets before Madoro gave his all for the country, winning a long battle against highly-rated Burundi 3-2 to advance to the quarters.

Zimbabwe will face Tunisia this morning 10:30am local time in the last eight.
