Cathay Pacific has recently resumed its nonstop service between Hong Kong (HKG) and Brussels (BRU), reconnecting the two cities after a five‑year hiatus. The route now operates four times weekly using the airline’s Airbus A350‑900 aircraft, offering passengers access to one of Europe’s key political and cultural capitals via Cathay’s increasingly expansive European network.
Throughout summer 2025, Cathay Pacific is operating up to 93 return weekly flights between Hong Kong and 11 European destinations. These include new and resumed services to Brussels and Munich (operating four times weekly), alongside established flights to London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Manchester, Milan, Paris, Zurich, Madrid, Barcelona, and Rome—all operated primarily with A350‑900 aircraft.
Each A350‑900 cabin features 38 fully flat-bed Business seats, 28 spacious Premium Economy seats, and 214 standard Economy seats—reflecting Cathay Pacific’s focus on comfort, efficiency, and environmental performance on long-haul routes.
Brussels becomes Cathay’s eleventh European destination, while Munich joins the airline’s network for the first time this summer. Both routes are part of a broader strategy to boost connectivity between Asia and Europe, driven by a recovery in travel demand across both leisure and business markets.
Cathay Pacific plans to maintain consistent scheduling and fleet deployment across its European network, with the A350‑900 serving as the backbone of its long-haul operations. As demand continues to rise, the airline expects to add additional frequencies to popular routes and enhance flexibility in travel options.
With the Brussels route now operational again and Munich newly onboard, Cathay Pacific is reinforcing its position as a leading carrier between Hong Kong and Europe, offering travelers enhanced service, more flight choice, and seamless connections across its global network.
