PREPARATIONS for the 45th Zimbabwe Defence Forces Day commemorations are progressing well with rehearsals being conducted at Rufaro Stadium in Harare.
From precision drills to intense rehearsals, the Zimbabwe Defence Forces are demonstrating high levels of discipline and preparedness, setting the tone for a memorable national event that honours the country’s gallant sons and daughters, mandated to protect the territorial integrity of the nation.
The fly past team from the Air Force of Zimbabwe was also on the ground, supervising the smooth flow of rehearsals.
The main celebrations will be held at Rufaro Stadium on August 12, where the Commander-in-Chief of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces and Head of State, Cde Emmerson Mnangagwa will lead the proceedings.
Provincial commemorations will also take place across the country.
This year’s commemorations are running under the theme: “Zimbabwe Defence Forces: Guaranteeing Peace and Stability for the Attainment of Vision 2030.
