At least 16 people have been killed in a shooting at a hotel popular with Westerners in the Ivory Coast.
Four Europeans were reportedly amongst the dead in the attack on the L’Etoile du Sud hotel in the beach resort of Grand-Bassam on Sunday.
The Foreign Office said they were “urgently” trying to establish whether any Brits were involved.
