President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi held a telephone conversation with the German Chancellor to discuss key regional and international issues, with a major focus on the ongoing crisis in Gaza, economic partnerships, and security cooperation.
According to a statement from the presidency, the two leaders expressed shared concern over the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza and emphasized the urgent need to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid. On the economic front, President El-Sisi and the Chancellor reviewed ongoing German investments in Egypt, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
