Kenya’s Envoy to Dominican Republic Mwenda Karisa Presents Credentials to President Luis Abinader Kenya’s Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Mwenda Karisa, has officially assumed his role after presenting his credentials to President Luis Abinader in Santo Domingo.
During the ceremony, Karisa conveyed greetings from President William Ruto and reaffirmed Kenya’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with the Dominican Republic. He noted that Kenya is keen to expand cooperation in trade, tourism, culture, and education as part of efforts to deepen South-South partnerships.
President Abinader welcomed the ambassador and expressed his government’s readiness to work with Kenya in advancing mutual interests, particularly in areas such as investment, sustainable development, and people-to-people exchanges.
The presentation of credentials marks a new chapter in Kenya’s diplomatic engagement with Latin America and the Caribbean, as Nairobi seeks to diversify its global partnerships beyond traditional allies.
