Dear Mr President,
It is highly imperative to remind Mr president about Nigeria’s state and its security – Nigerians and friends of Nigeria will not lift a finger if Nigeria Armed forces should redefine the status of “commandef-in chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria” … A dire warning ! Do not force Nigerian military guys into governance!”
On the battlefield, the military pledges to leave no soldier behind. As a nation, let it be our pledge that when they return home, we leave no veteran behind’. if these guys are not equipped , armed with latest weapon to fight Boko Haram terrorist , they might unilaterally stage coup against the government ; which may be welcome by the North/Eastern part of Nigeria who have lost their families , lands and properties to these elements , more so, is the mindset of average Nigerians whose minds and reasoning had being militarized before now ! I think of the North/East community – the values that resonate in our community are fundamentally conservative. They are faith, family and patriotism. Do you know the rate of military enlistment among North/Eastern part of Nigeria is higher than any demographic in this country? And they are also hard working and responsible.
It is not political correct nor security right for lapses in securing the lives and properties of Nigerians- days are counting, our girls are not rescued yet nor any attempt to keep Nigerians updated about the girls.
Let me also remind Mr President of God of Nigeria and karma of governance, The step aside of Gen Ibrahim Babadiga ,The death of Gen . Sani Abach, The arrest of Ibori in London and the shameful removal of Chief Diepreye Alamieyeseigha your benefactor and boss, the Obasanjo third term agenda crisis and the death of Yar-adua –
Let these historical antecedence and posterity judge you- Nigeria security is above any political elements or individuals
Nigeria cannot afford to go back to military era again , these guys cannot be ridiculed in front of their counterparts in Cameroon,Nigeria is rich enough to stem the activities and menace of these terrorist – The hope of Nigeria does not only lie on 2015 election but the aftermath of Boko Haram ISIS caliphates state In Nigeria.
Let it not be you ; that during your administration, Nigeria goes back to infra-ethnic war – National confab delegates might not talk about separation of Nigeria but if Boko-haram expands their territorial havoc to the Western part of Nigeria or South-south – for real’ Nigeria will go ! This is a blank cheque to all political pundit ….
