The Area E Commander, ACP Frank Mba has reaffirmed the Nigeria Police commitment on safeguarding the life and property of the citizenry of Amuwo Odofin Local Government.
He made this assurance when the Executive Secretary of Amuwo Odofin Local Government, Deaconess Modupe Ajibola-Ojodu paid him a courtesy visit in his command at Festac Town, Lagos.
ACP Mba opined that the Nigeria Police would stop at nothing to guarantee the security and peace of the Local Government.
“We pledge our unalloyed loyalty to the constitution and to the good people of Amuwo Odofin Local Government,” he assured.
The Area E Commander also expressed the Nigeria Police commitment in partnering with the Local Government on the security and safety of the Local Government.
In his words, “ from my discussion with the Executive Secretary, which are very encouraging, I am glad to inform you that the Executive Secretary is committed to the security and the safety of the people in this Local Government. She has expressed her willingness to partner and assist the police to fulfilling the mandate of protecting lives and properties”.
The Executive Secretary who expressed confidence that the Nigeria Police would carry out its primary responsibility of crime prevention, noted that the Local Government would partner the Nigeria Police in realizing and fulfilling their constitutional responsibility.
